As Rompak, we pay close attention to environmental protection and the responsible use of energy resources in all our activities, in compliance with our environmental and energy protection policy.
Our Environmental and Energy Policy
The commitment to protect the natural resources and to use energy in the most efficient way, as a fundamental policy, in compliance with national regulations and other legal requirements;
Implementing practices to reduce energy consumption and monitoring their results;
Preventing environmental pollution and continuously improving environmental performance and energy use efficiency, by monitoring scientific research and technological progress;
Monitoring and reducing the potential environmental impact in production processes, throughout the entire product life cycle;
Continuous improvement of our environmental and energy resource management system, adapted to the needs and size of our organization, documenting and communicating it to all employees;
Raising the awareness of all employees, at all levels, on environmental responsibility and energy resources;
Preventing pollution by reducing waste and recycling it at source;
Adopting a sustainable and efficient logistics model using reusable CHEP pallets, thus preventing the generation of wood waste;
Prioritizing energy performance in procurement processes and supplier evaluation;
Communicating with all stakeholders and decision-makers to improve energy and environmental performance;
Monitoring the performance of all processes, critical points and environmental aspects, in order to achieve the sustainability objectives and reduce environmental impact;
Continuous upgrading of company facilities to achieve environmental performance in compliance with current regulations.
